Write ‘Om Namah Shivay’ with the ring finger on the five leaves of Panchmukhi Belpatra. Only after this offer it to Shivling. Hold Panchmukhi Belpatra with both hands and offer it to Shivling. While offering Belpatra on Shivling, do chant the mantra ‘Om Tatpurushaya Vidmahe Mahadevaya Dhimahi Tanno Rudrah Prachodayat’ or ‘Om Namah Shivay’.
