
Satluj Internationally Removed From Zee5: The controversy regarding Diljit Dosanjh’s film Satluj is deepening. His film was released a few days ago on ZEE5 without any promotion and announcement. But within 3 days of its streaming, the film was removed from ZEE5. Now, after a few days, another big action has been taken regarding the film. Now this film has also been removed from the international list of ZEE5. Meaning that now this biopic film is not available anywhere on the OTT platform. There is a lot of protest against the removal of this film.
Talking about the film Sutlej, this film was earlier being released under the name of Punjab 95. But the film did not get any certificate from the Censor Board, on the contrary, suggestions of 127 cuts were given. This film was struggling for release for the last 3 years. now when Satluj When it was brought directly on the OTT platform, many people did not even know about it. Some people also watched this film. The film was removed just 3 days after its release and now it has also been removed from the international library of OTT platform ZEE5.
Actor Diljit Dosanjh and director Honey Trehan are not happy with the removal of the film. Both of them have expressed their opposition and also expressed the hope that they will definitely get some platform to release this film and take it to the public. The story of this film is inspired by the life of Jaswant Singh Khalra who was a human activist who tried to investigate the terrorist attacks and mysterious murders in Punjab.
