But then his wife Richa came to know about a serious disease like ‘brain tumor’. He was undergoing treatment in the US, where Sanjay Dutt used to come to meet him but did not stay. In fact, after her mother’s death in her childhood, Trishala was raised by her maternal grandparents in America. Many people feel that the label of star kid gives glamor and an easy life. But for Trishala Dutt the truth was much more painful. Recently he spoke openly about losing his mother due to brain tumor at the age of 8.
Why did Sanjay Dutt stay with his first wife?
During this, Trishala Dutt also told why her father Sanjay Dutt could not stay in America the whole time during the treatment. Recently Trishala participated in the latest podcast episode of ‘Inside Thoughts Out Loud’. During this, he spoke openly about the bullying he faced in his childhood in America. She told that when she was 5 or 6 years old. So she went to high school and things got worse. In fact, people were beginning to know what background she came from. He also accepted that he had no one to support him. He also told about losing his mother at the age of 8. Trishala Dutt said that her father Sanjay Dutt used to constantly go back and forth between India and America during that difficult period of his life. She further says-
“My mother passed away in 1996. I was 8 years old and she died of a brain tumor. Her disease was diagnosed in 1989. By the time it was diagnosed, it had reached Grade 4. This type of brain cancer is one of the most deadly and rapidly spreading cancers in humans. Papa was dividing his time between India and America. He was constantly commuting between the two places, Because he was working, it was very difficult for him to stay and work during the entire treatment of his mother.
