Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8: how much is the price

The starting price of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 has been kept at 1200 US dollars i.e. around Rs 1.15 lakh. This price is for the base variant with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. The second model of the phone comes with 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage. The company has introduced it in cream, graphite and pink colors, while the mint color will be available only online. Its pre-order booking has started in select markets. Customers purchasing from the company’s website will get six months of Google AI Pro trial, 5 TB cloud storage and the first three months of Samsung Care Plus plan at no extra charge. However, till now the company has not announced the price in India.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 comes with One UI 9 based on Android 17. It has a 6.9 inch AMOLED main display and 4.1 inch AMOLED cover screen. Both displays support 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, while the cover screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The phone has Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Four Galaxy chipset and 12 GB RAM.

Talking about the camera, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 has a 50-megapixel primary camera, 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 10-megapixel selfie camera on the inner screen. This camera setup supports 4K video recording up to 60 fps.

Galaxy Z Flip 8 has a 4300 mAh battery, which supports 25 W wired and 15 W wireless charging. For security, a side mounted fingerprint scanner has been provided in the phone. It has got IP48 rating, due to which it remains protected from dust and water to some extent. For connectivity, USB Type C port, 5G and Wi-Fi 7 is supported. The phone has an armor aluminum frame. Its weight is 180 grams. Its size when unfolded is 166.9 x 75.4 x 6.1 mm and when folded is 85.7 x 75.4 x 13.1 mm.
