Samsung’s next flip-style foldable smartphone Galaxy Z Flip 8 can hit the market soon. The company has not yet shared official information about this device, but hints related to its features and price have come to light through many leaks. It is believed that the new model will be an upgraded version of Galaxy Z Flip 7 launched last year. However, in terms of design, there may not be any major changes in it.

At the same time, the price of 512GB variant is estimated to be around 1,499 Euro (about Rs 1.60 lakh). If we compare, Galaxy Z Flip 7 The 256GB model came with a starting price of 1,199 Euros in Europe and around Rs 1,09,999 in India.
Display and Design
According to leaks, Galaxy Z Flip 8 can get a 6.9-inch foldable AMOLED display, which can have 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 2,600 nits. The phone is also expected to retain the 4.1-inch cover display, which can be offered with a better refresh rate than before.
Talking about design, this phone may look similar to the earlier flip model, but it can be made thinner and lighter than before. According to reports, its weight could be around 180 grams.
Processor and Software
Samsung can use different chipsets for different markets in Galaxy Z Flip 8. Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor is likely to be available in markets like America and China, while in India and Europe a model with 2nm Exynos 2600 chipset may be available.
The phone is expected to have 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB or 512GB UFS 4.1 storage options. This device can launch with Android 17 based One UI 9 and the company can offer software updates for a long time.

There is little possibility of major changes in the camera setup. Galaxy Z Flip 8 can be provided with a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera. It can get a 10 megapixel front camera for selfie.
The battery capacity is expected to be 4,300mAh, while the charging speed could be 25W. Overall, Galaxy Z Flip 8 can try to improve the shortcomings of the previous model with better performance, lighter design and new software features.
