Leaks related to Samsung Galaxy S27 and Samsung Galaxy S27 Plus have started emerging. In last year’s Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, the company has given an amazing feature named Privacy Display, now this feature can also come in the upcoming S27 and S27 Plus. The purpose of bringing this new privacy display feature is to prevent shoulder surfing (peeping the screen of people nearby).
Samsung Galaxy S27 Series specifications (expected)
Citing industry sources, The Elec reports that the South Korean smartphone maker Samsung All models in the Galaxy S27 series will feature a ‘Privacy Display’, as was seen in this year’s flagship Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. This year, this feature was given only in Galaxy S26 Ultra, but now this feature can be included in all four models of the series coming next year, Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27+, Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra.
This is contrary to a recent report, in which it was said that only Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra will get the privacy display feature. A hardware-based solution is used in this, due to which the outer pixels of the phone are turned off and the viewing angle is reduced. Users can enable this feature for specific apps, notification pop-ups, passwords and OTP. It offers two levels of privacy, which gives more control over functionality.
Apart from this, a report by GalaxyClub claims that South Korean tech company Samsung is planning to install a different front-facing camera in its Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra for selfies and video calls than this year’s flagship phones. According to reports, these phones will be launched in 2027 with a 16-megapixel front camera, which can be installed in the hole-punch display cutout.
