Samsung Galaxy Watch 9: price and design
Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 has been introduced in 40 mm and 44 mm case sizes. The price of 40 mm Bluetooth model in India is Rs 37,999 and the price of Bluetooth Plus LTE model is Rs 41,999. Whereas the price of 44 mm model has been kept at Rs 40,999 and Rs 44,999 respectively. The 40 mm model will be available in graphite and cream colors, while the 44 mm variant will be available in graphite and silver colors. Along with this, the company has also introduced sports, misty and fabric watch bands. Pre-orders have started in select markets and buyers will also get 60 days of Strava Premium and a two-month iFit trial.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 9: Specifications
Galaxy Watch 9 has a Super AMOLED always on display. The 44 mm model has a 1.47 inch screen and the 40 mm model has a 1.34 inch screen. Both displays come with up to 3000 nits peak brightness and sapphire crystal glass protection. The smartwatch has a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear Elite processor built on 3 nm, 2 GB RAM and 32 GB storage. It runs on Wear OS 7 and One UI 9 watch. It also has AI based health features like new bioactive sensor, heart health score, fitness index, daily cardio load, vitals, hearing and updated sleep apnea.
Many new features in battery and connectivity too
The 44 mm model of Galaxy Watch 9 has a 445 mAh battery and the 40 mm model has a 390 mAh battery. It supports WPC based fast wireless charging. For connectivity, LTE, Bluetooth 6.0, dual band Wi-Fi, NFC and dual frequency GPS are supported. For strength, it has been given 5 ATM, IP68 and MIL STD 810H rating. Apart from this, temperature sensor, accelerometer, barometer, gyroscope, geomagnetic sensor and ambient light sensor are also provided in it.
Galaxy Glasses feature Gemini AI and 9 hours of battery
Samsung has also launched its first Galaxy Glasses, which has Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1 chipset. It has an inbuilt camera, through which Gemini AI can understand and respond to what is seen in front. The company claims that it will last for 9 hours on a single charge, whereas with the charging case the glasses can be fully charged after seven. Features like touch control, voice control, live translation, calling, listening to music, taking photos and narrating long messages have been provided in the glasses. Users can also record video from their perspective during the call and share it directly through the companion app. However, the company has not yet given information about its price and availability.
