Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 has been launched globally as a new flagship smartwatch. This wearable has been launched for the customers during the Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event, this new smartwatch from Samsung runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chipset, which shows a different lineup from the company’s Exynos SoCs. This watch will replace the company’s Galaxy Watch Ultra, which was launched in India and global markets in July 2024.

Samsung This new smartwatch comes with OneUI 9 watch, which is based on Wear OS 7. It is compatible with devices running Android 13 and later. This watch has more than 1.5GB RAM. The company claims that this watch comes with IP69K (dust and water resistance), 10ATM and MIL-STD-810H durability rating. The smartwatch is equipped with a bioactive sensor that enables continuous health and fitness tracking thanks to biometric data, which is then converted into proactive recommendations.

Apart from this, this watch also has a sleep apnea feature, which tells about difficulty in breathing during sleep. The list of onboard sensors also includes a bio-signal sensor, an electrical heart sensor, a temperature sensor, an accelerometer, a barometer, a gyroscope, a geomagnetic sensor and a light sensor. For health tracking, this watch comes with heart rate monitoring, blood-oxygen level tracking and sleep tracking.

Talking about the display, this watch has a 1.52 inch Super AMOLED display, which comes with peak brightness of up to 5000 nits, always-on display and sapphire crystal protection. Qualcomm’s penta-core Snapdragon Wear Elite processor has been used in this watch, along with it it has 2 GB RAM and 64 GB storage.

This watch has an 800mAh battery which supports WPC-based wireless charging. For connectivity, this watch also supports Bluetooth 6.0, LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC and GPS.
