Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday launched a major attack on Samajwadi Party and Congress. He said that earlier Hindus were insulted. Congress has always played with the Hindu faith, when the then President Rajendra Prasad was invited to the consecration of the Somnath temple, the Congress had opposed it and as far as the Samajwadi Party is concerned, their history is stained with the blood of Ram devotees. CM Yogi said these things on the occasion of laying the foundation stone and inaugurating projects worth Rs 572 crore at Bansthan in Pipraich Assembly on Saturday.
CM Yogi said that There can be no alternative to these development plans. The opposition’s conspiracy to divide in the name of caste is an act to create obstacles in these development works. When SP and Congress parties were in power, there was no development. Hindus were insulted.
Played with the sentiments of Hindus
He said that even today he was reading the statement of a Congress leader. He was saying that he never said that Ram was imaginary. In 2006, the Congress central government had given an affidavit in the Supreme Court, considering Lord Ram and Krishna as myths.
CM Yogi said that the mischief of playing with Hindu faith was started by Congress from the beginning, when the country’s first President Dr. Rajendra Prasad was invited to the revival program of Somnath Temple. At that time it was opposed by Congress.
CM Yogi lashed out at SP
He said that he continued to insult Hindus. What is there to say about SP? Their history is stained with the blood of Ram devotees. They have insulted India’s heritage. Always worked to insult the faith of India.
Yogi asked how riots used to happen in the governments of SP and Congress? These people used to ban Kavad Yatra along with festivals and festivals. Used to insult the faith of India. Today, the double engine BJP government under the leadership of PM Modi is respecting the heritage and is also working to advance the development works at a rapid pace. People of Congress and SP are not able to digest this.
