His films have not received good response from fans which has become a matter of concern. Now in the year 2026, he is coming with the film Matribhoomi. This film based on the attack in Galvan Valley has a patriotic and emotional angle and fans are also connecting with this film a lot. A lot of expectations are also being placed on the earnings of this film. Earlier this film was to be released in April on the occasion of Eid. But its release was postponed. On the other hand, there were expectations that this film could be released in the month of August. But even this could not happen. The film is not getting the green signal from the censor board, due to which its release can now be postponed further.
If reports are to be believed salman khan The Censor Board has put a stay on the release of the film Mathrubhumi till further orders. Earlier the title of this film was kept as Battle of Galwan which was later changed to Mathrubhumi. As the release of the film was nearing and the curiosity of the fans was at its peak, this new update brought about this film may disappoint the fans. Currently, the film has to face opposition from China even before its release.

Salman Khan had announced this film in the year 2025 on the occasion of his 60th birthday. In the film, he will be seen playing the role of martyr Colonel Santosh Babu. The film is being directed by Shootout at Wadala director Apoorva Lakhia. Chitrangada Singh is in the role of lead actress in the film. Ankur Bhatia and Abhilash Chaudhary will be seen playing important roles in this film. Himesh Reshammiya is giving the music of the film. Now it remains to be seen when the film can be released.

He will be seen in the Saudi Arabian film 7 Dogs. Apart from this, he is also a part of Vamsi Paidipally’s upcoming film whose tentative title has been kept as SVC 63. This will be a pan India action-drama film in which South actress Nayanthara will be seen opposite the Bollywood superstar.
