July 7, 2026 by Uma Shankar

Salman Khan Sultan Fees: Salman Khan's blockbuster film 'Sultan', released in 2016, has now completed 10 years. The film achieved great success at the box office and received tremendous praise among the people. Even today it is counted among the biggest hit films of Salman Khan's career. Everything from the story of the film to the performance of the star cast was highly praised.
The interesting thing is that Salman Khan did not charge any fixed fee for 'Sultan'. He had made a profit sharing deal with Yash Raj Films that after taking out the cost (budget) of the film, there would be an equal share of 50-50 in the profit. Due to this profit, Salman Khan got approximately Rs 106 crores.
Anushka Sharma was seen in the lead role with Salman Khan in the film. It is said that Anushka Sharma charged about 7% of the budget of the film. According to reports, Anushka took a fee of around Rs 6 to 7 crore for the role of 'Arfa'. People liked her and Salman's onscreen chemistry a lot.
At the same time, Randeep Hooda, who played the role of Salman's coach, got around Rs 1 to 2 crore for this film. Whereas Amit Saad, who played the character of Akash in the film, charged fees ranging between Rs 50 lakh to Rs 1 crore. The acting of both the actors also received praise.
'Sultan', made with a budget of around Rs 80 crore, had created history at the box office. The film did a worldwide business of more than Rs 627 crore and was included among the biggest blockbusters of 2016. This is the reason why even after a decade of its release, the audience watches 'Sultan' with great interest.
