There has been a huge uproar in Hooghly, Bengal. TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee has been attacked. He was going to submit a memorandum at Chanditala police station for the release of the workers. Then the protesters attacked him. He was also beaten up. During this, the protesters showed black flags and also raised slogans of ‘thief’. Earlier, TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee was attacked.
It is alleged that during the demonstration a stone was thrown at him from a distance. This stone hit Kalyan Banerjee’s head, due to which he fell on the ground due to injury. He has also been accused of misbehaving. TMC MP has accused BJP workers of this attack.
