The three-day provincial campaign meeting of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is going to be held in Belagavi, Karnataka from 10 to 12 July. Amidst the celebrations of centenary of the Sangh, in this meeting, along with the structure, activities and future strategy of the organization, some such issues are also likely to be discussed, which will have a direct impact on the organization and other affiliated organizations including BJP.
According to Sangh sources, this will be the last meeting under the provincial campaign system. Review of centenary year programs, expansion of the organization and future action plan will also be discussed. Changes to be made in the organizational structure will also be discussed in the meeting. Final discussions can be held on preparations to implement the state campaigner and division campaigner system in place of the state campaigner system from next year.
All India Divisional Promotional Meeting from next year
After this, there will no longer be a provincial campaigner meeting at the All India level, but from next year onwards, instead of the provincial campaigner meeting, there will be an all India divisional campaigner meeting. In this important meeting, Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat, Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale, all co-Sarkaryavahs, all India officials, state campaigners from across the country and BJP organization minister BL Santosh, co-organization minister Shivprakash will start reaching Belagavi from July 7.
Sangh sources say that there is no plan to discuss the Ram Temple dispute in the state campaigner meeting. However, if someone raises this topic during discussion on contemporary issues, then there can be a brainstorming session on it. The Sangh and the VHP have publicly stated that they will wait for the SIT investigation, but there is also concern within the organization that there has been a delay in taking effective steps after the allegations came to light.
There can be discussion on the shortcomings of the examination system
Some officials believe that this has affected the credibility of the Ram Janmabhoomi movement and there is a need to consider a better model of temple management. Issues affecting the youth, especially paper leaks and flaws in the examination system, can be discussed in the promotional meeting.
The Sangh believes that this problem has affected the youth the most. The government may be talking about a policy of zero tolerance but there is resentment at the grassroots level. In such a situation, the organization can decide further strategy on this issue at its own level.
