Redmi Note 17 was launched in the Chinese market some time ago along with Redmi Note 17 Pro. These smartphones have replaced Redmi Note 15 and Redmi Note 15 Pro, which were launched in the Indian market earlier this year. After being launched in China, now information about the price and features of these smartphones has started leaking in India. Recently, a report has informed that the standard Redmi Note 17 can be launched in India in August, which will have similar specifications as the Chinese variant. Now, recently a tipster has shared the price of this upcoming phone which shows at what price this mid-range phone will be launched.
Redmi Note 17 Price in India (Expected)
In a post on X, tipster Yogesh Brar has recently given information related to the Indian variants of Redmi Note 17. It has been claimed in the leak that the price of the base variant of Redmi Note 17 in India can start from Rs 30 thousand. This price can be for 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant of the phone. This phone will come with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3, which is based on Android 16.
When will Redmi Note 17 be launched in India?
According to the report, Redmi Note 17 will get four years of OS upgrades and five years of security updates. The smartphone may also have LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 internal storage. However, the tech firm has not yet confirmed these details, so do not trust them too much.
This comes shortly after the report which suggested that Redmi Note 17 will be launched in India on August 6. Furthermore, the report states that the handset will be available for sale in the country from August 11. Talking about the specifications, many reports suggest that the smartphone will come to India with similar specifications and features as the Chinese version.
Redmi Note 17 was launched in China on July 14 at a starting price of 1299 Chinese Yuan (approximately Rs 18,000), at this price the phone will be available in 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant. Snapdragon 4 Generation 4 octa-core processor has been used in this device for speed and multitasking. Apart from this, the phone has an 8000mAh battery, a 50-megapixel camera sensor at the back and an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies.
