Received such a reply before vacating the flat, this message from Bengaluru landlord is making waves on social media

June 24, 2026 by Uma Shankar

It is very common in our country to have disagreements or arguments between landlord and tenant. Often people complain that the landlord increased the rent without any reason or put pressure on them to vacate the house. But meanwhile, an incident has come to light on social media, which has won the hearts of people on the internet. This story is about Krutika Kumari, a resident of Bengaluru, and her landlord, which is in discussion among the people.

Krutika Kumari works as a software developer in Bengaluru and lives on rent in a flat there. According to her plan, she had to vacate her current flat by the end of July, but due to some reason she could not find a new house for herself. In such a situation, she hesitantly messaged her landlord and asked if she could stay in the same flat till September?

Landlord’s surprising answer

Kritika had full hope that the landlord would probably flatly refuse this, or else increase the rent significantly for these two months. However, when the landlord’s reply came, Kritika was surprised. The landlord replied in a filmy style, ‘Don’t go away. I want you to stay here for a good long term. He shared this reply of the landlord on social media, which instantly went viral among the people.

This small thing teaches us that every relationship does not depend only on money or the terms of the agreement, but it is also important to have a little human connection and mutual understanding in it. In today’s times when people are often troubled by the strict attitude of landlords, this story is a pleasant change. It’s a reminder that a little comfort and kind words can make any strange city seem like home to you.
