RCB’s star player banned, BCCI also deducted half his earnings, gave a shock the next day after becoming IPL champion

Royal Challengers Bangalore created history by winning the IPL 2026 title. Bengaluru won the IPL trophy for the second consecutive time by defeating Gujarat Titans by 5 wickets in the final played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. But while RCB players and its fans were celebrating this title win, a day later the team’s star player Tim David was banned. Due to violation of rules on the field, BCCI banned explosive batsman David for one match and also deducted his match fee.
