But Ranveer Singh found the story and characters very 'dark' and depressing, due to which he refused to do it. Later this character was played by Shahid Kapoor. Animal: Sandeep Reddy Vanga's blockbuster film was also initially offered to Ranveer Singh but due to some reasons he refused to do it. After this the film reached Ranbir Kapoor and proved to be a blockbuster. Love and War: Shooting of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's most awaited film 'Love and War' is going on. According to reports, Ranveer Singh was to be cast for the role of Vicky Kaushal in this movie but it could not happen. Apart from Vicky Kaushal, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will be seen in this movie. Bombay Velvet: In this Anurag Kashyap film, the role of Johnny Balraj was first offered to Ranveer Singh, which later went to Ranbir Kapoor.
