The film is being directed by Nitesh Tiwari. The makers have projected it as India’s most expensive film and hence the scale of the film is also very big. The first part of the film will be released in theaters on the occasion of Diwali, but talks have already started regarding its distribution rights. Many big distribution houses of the country are trying to buy the rights of Ramayana.

‘Ramayana‘, which is being described as the most expensive and biggest film of the country, the price of its theatrical distribution rights has also shocked the distributors. Variety India, quoting sources, has said in its report that producer Namil Malhotra from Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, Anil Thadani’s AA Films and Pen Studios has talked about the pan India theatrical distribution rights of ‘Ramayana’. However, the discussion is still at the initial stage. The deal is expected to be finalized in the coming months, but before that its price has become a big issue.

How much money are the producers of Ramayana asking for?

The producer has fixed the price of Hindi theatrical distribution rights of ‘Ramayana’ at Rs 450 crore. This price has shocked the industry. Before this, no film in the history of Indian cinema has come even close to this price. It has been told in the report that Anil Thadani, Jayantilal Gada and other distributors are hesitant after hearing the price. He has requested Namit Malhotra to reduce his demand.

Will the price be lower?

It has been told that Namit Malhotra is firm on the price and demand he has set. He believes that the price has been kept considering the scale of the film, market prospects and the expectation of bumper earnings at the box office. It is expected that the next round of talks will start when the makers release the next promotional assets (teaser etc.) of the film.

‘King’ has got the biggest deal

You will be surprised to know that leave aside Rs 450 crore, till now the distribution rights of any film in Hindi cinema has not been sold even for Rs 300 crore. In this case at present Shahrukh Khan Are at number one. The distribution rights of his upcoming film ‘King’ have been sold for around Rs 250 crore. It has recently been bought by Penn Marudhar (Penn Studios).

What is the budget of ‘Ramayana’?

According to producer Namit Malhotra, the budget of both the parts of Ramayana is around Rs 4 thousand crores. in the movie Ranbir Kapoor Many actors like (Ram), Sai Pallavi (Sita), Yash (Ravana), Sunny Deol (Hanuman), Ravi Dubey (Lakshman), Arun Govil (Dasaratha) will be seen. ‘Ramayana: Part 1’ will be released in November on the occasion of Diwali.
