He had told in an old interview that he is a devotee of Lord Ram and Shiva, due to which he used to keep fast during the shooting of the show.

The actor had told in the conversation that due to being in the role of Ravana during the show, he had to talk negative things about Lord Ram. For which he used to keep fast and after the shooting was over, he would first worship God and then eat something. The actor had said, ‘I am a Ram devotee and a Shiva devotee in real life too, hence whenever I used to go for shooting, I used to fast the whole day. Because I felt sad that according to the given script, I had to speak wrong words to Shri Ram.

Arvind Trivedi gained a lot of popularity from this show. The actor had also revealed that even today he calls Arun Govil as Prabhu. Talking about his character, the actor had said that I never thought that my character would become so famous among the people. People will start recognizing me not only in the country but also abroad. The amazing thing is that Arvind had come during the audition to play the role of a boatman. But, after seeing him, Ramanand Sagar said that I have found my Ravana.
