Ramanand Sagar had made this show with so much passion that each and every character of the serial is still alive in the minds of the fans. Although all the actors of the show were amazing artists, there was one actress whose acting made even Ramanand Sagar cry.

We are talking about actress Padma Khanna who played the role of Queen Kaikeyi in Ramayana. Padma has been a well-known name in the industry. He has shown his acting magic in many superhit films. But it seemed as if Padma had put her soul into the role of Kaikeyi. She cried so much for a scene that her tears did not stop for a long time.

The scene that made everyone cry

This is the scene of Queen Kaikeyi going to Kop Bhavan after being angry with King Dashrath. This scene was quite emotional anyway, but when actor Bal Dhuri, who played the role of Padma and King Dashrath in the serial, performed this scene, the conviction of his acting was so tremendous that everyone on the set started crying. Padma herself kept crying for a long time even after being cut. Even Ramanand Sagar himself started crying.

Padma Khanna is a great artist

The actress herself had once revealed this in an interview. Talking about Padma, she was born on 10 March 1949 in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. From the age of 7, Padma started taking classical dance lessons from the famous Kathak maestro Pandit Birju Maharaj. Actress Vyjayantimala saw her dance during a stage show and advised her to try her luck in films, after which Padma started her career with the first superhit Bhojpuri film of 1963 ‘Ganga Maiya Tohe Piyari Chadhaibo’. He worked in about 300 films in different languages ​​like Saudagar, Johnny Mera Naam.
