Ramakant Dayama Death: Veteran actor Ramakant Dayama has passed away. He was ill for a long time. Ramakant worked in television shows, films and advertisements in his career spanning several decades. The film and TV industry has suffered a major shock due to his demise. Fans are also saddened by his departure. Ramakant’s co-star and close friend Shubhangi Latkar has confirmed Ramakant’s death. He has also shared a long emotional post on social media. Along with this post he has also shared an old video. Ramakant played important roles in Shahrukh Khan’s film ‘Chak De India’ and Akshay Kumar’s ‘Ram Setu’.
In the video shared by Shubhangi Latkar on Instagram, Ramakant looks very happy. He is seen singing and dancing. In this post, Shubhangi wrote, “Today we have lost a wonderful person and I am really unable to say anything. Ramakant Dayama was not just my friend or family friend, but he was a person whom I admired and respected a lot.”

Ramakant was ill for several months
Shubhangi further writes, “He knew how to enjoy life despite all the challenges. A dancer, a soulful singer, a brilliant actor, and for me, a wise advisor, whose words always had a deep meaning. He may have looked small, but he was an extremely strong and courageous person. Even though we knew that he was ill for the last several months, at heart we never lost hope.”
