Ram temple offering theft: Champat Rai blames Tinnu Yadav, says – I have no role

Ram Temple Donation Case: While presenting his side before the police during the investigation of Ram Temple offering theft case, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust Champat Rai said that he has no role in the alleged misappropriation of offerings. He told that as soon as information about the matter was received. He immediately became active and identified the suspects. Helped in getting them arrested and also ensured the process of filing FIR. Let us tell you that the first FIR in this case was registered on June 25.

According to sources, during interrogation, Champat Rai also admitted that it was his moral responsibility to ensure that there were no irregularities in the system of offerings. However, he said that Tinnu Yadav had been associated with the trust for a long time and was trusted. No one expected him to get involved in such activities.

Questions were also asked to Champat Rai on the recruitment process.

During the investigation, the police also asked how the process of hiring relatives and acquaintances of people associated with the trust was done. On this, Champat Rai said that the opportunity was given to the needy people with the aim of providing them employment. He clarified that this decision was not only his personal one, but other officials of the Trust also played a role in it.

In this context, he also mentioned Trust members Dr. Anil Mishra and Gopal Rao. According to sources, the SIT and the police are now connecting the links of the entire incident by matching the statement of Champat Rai with other evidence and statements of the concerned people.

All accused sent to judicial custody for 14 days

Yesterday i.e. on Monday, all the 8 accused in the Ayodhya Ram Temple donation theft case were sent to judicial custody for 14 days. All 8 accused including Tinnu will now be presented in the court on 13th July. Earlier, the houses of all these accused were raided. During this time many things were recovered from them. The police had recovered some jewellery, cash and various documents.
