Ayodhya Ram temple donation theft case is under the scanner. Now a petition has been filed in the Supreme Court regarding this matter. Ram temple theft case has been listed for mentioning on Monday. Along with this, action against the accused has also been intensified. Considering the seriousness of the matter, the police has raided the houses of the accused in the Ram Temple theft case. In this, all the four accused have already been arrested. Police is collecting evidence regarding theft of offerings.
Police have raided Tinnu Yadav’s house as well as his nephew’s house. Police has also raided the house of Anukalp and Lavkush Mishra. According to the police, there are indications of collusion between bank officials and employees in this matter. Champat Rai, who held the post of General Secretary of Ram Temple, has resigned in this matter.
Who is Champat Rai?
Hardly anyone else has been more closely associated with the Ram Janmabhoomi movement than Champat Rai. 79-year-old Champat Rai worked mainly behind the scenes as an RSS pracharak and senior official of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) for decades. He helped lead the movement through organizational, legal and administrative challenges and then took over the construction and management of the temple after the Supreme Court’s 2019 decision.
Barely two and a half years had passed since the inauguration of Ram Temple and Champat Rai has come at the center of controversies. He has been accused of corruption in the donations received by the Ram Mandir Trust. This investigation has started the biggest investigation ever into the entire project, which he had overseen from the beginning. This case has also completely changed the role of Champat Rai. Earlier he was a little-known organizer, but now he has become one of the most recognizable faces of the Ram Mandir project.
