
The meeting of Ram Mandir Trust has ended. There was no discussion on irregularities in counting of offerings. The Trust said that the final report of the SIT has not been received yet, hence discussion in this regard is not possible right now. However, the security arrangements of CCTV cameras during the counting process of offerings were definitely reviewed in the meeting. In this, access to all the CCTV cameras including the offering counting room was provided to the security officers in advance and at the same time, it was also decided in the meeting to continue the system of checking the quantity and purity of gold and silver offerings.
In the meeting of the Trust, the responsibilities and compliance of the Bank were discussed under the MOU signed with the State Bank of India, in which the Trust expressed dissatisfaction with the functioning of the Bank and its response to the irregularities that came to light. Apart from this, the Finance Committee of the Trust was instructed to reconsider the relations and standard procedures with the bank. At the same time, the committee formed for the selection of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ram Temple asked for an additional time of one month. The committee says that due to the large number of applications, some more time is needed for the CEO selection process.
Approval for appointment to the post of Secretary
According to sources, the Trust has approved the appointment of a secretary in view of the possible increasing number of devotees in future. Actually, due to delay in the appointment of the Chief Executive Officer, the appointment to the post of Secretary has been approved.
Trust decided to appoint spokesperson
At the same time, despite corruption and other allegations, there is no reduction in the number of devotees visiting Ram temple. Regarding this, the Trust said that despite the baseless, false and misleading allegations, the faith and belief of crores of Ram devotees is unshakable. The Trust Board expressed gratitude towards the Sant Samaj, the devotees coming from India and abroad and the society of Awadh. According to sources, to maintain communication with the society, the Trust has decided to appoint a spokesperson and has informed that the process of filling the vacant posts of trustees will take a few more weeks.
Reorganization of religious committee
The trust said that the religious committee will be reconstituted to maintain the traditional authenticity and purity of worship in the temple premises. This committee will be formed under the chairmanship of Swami Govind Dev Giri. Saints including Jagadguru Shankaracharya Jyotishapeethadhipati Swami Vasudevanand Saraswati, Madhwapeethadhipati Swami Vishwaprasannatirtha Ji Maharaj, Swami Dinendradas Ji, Swami Kamalnayandas Ji, Swami Ramanand Das Ji, Mahant Rajkumar Das Ji and Swami Ramanand Das Ji have been made members in the committee.
