Ram Mandir donation theft case: Trust confirms resignation of Champat Rai and Anil Mishra, know what was said in the statement

General Secretary Champat Rai and Trustee Dr. Anil Mishra of Ayodhya-based Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust have resigned from their posts. The Trust has issued its first statement in this matter, in which Treasurer Govind Dev Giri has confirmed the resignations. Earlier, the news of his resignation was prevalent in the media throughout the day, but now it has been officially confirmed.

In the Ram Mandir donation theft case, questions were being raised against Trust General Secretary Champat Rai and Trustee Dr. Anil Mishra ever since this episode came to light. People were asking all kinds of questions, not only this, discussions about his resignation continued throughout the day on social media and other places on Friday. On Saturday afternoon, Trust Treasurer Govind Dev Giri confirmed the resignation of both the persons.

Expressed deep sorrow and surprise at the incident

Trust treasurer Swami Govinddev Giri issued a press release expressing regret over the recent controversy related to Ram Lalla temple. He said that strict legal action has been initiated against those found guilty. On the issue of donations by devotees, the Trust expressed deep sorrow and surprise at this entire incident. He said that this entire matter is being investigated.

Govinddev Giri assured lakhs of Ram devotees present in the country and abroad that whatever things the devotees personally handed over to the Trust officials for the service of Lord Shri Ram, such as silver bricks, precious jewelery or other materials, are completely safe. The Trust keeps complete and accurate records of these things.

Conspiracy against Sanatan failed

In the statement issued by the Trust, Govinddev Giri said that the conspiracy against Sanatan Dharma has been foiled. During this, he appealed to the devotees of Lord Ram to ignore the misleading and baseless rumors spreading on social media and other platforms and prevent others from becoming victims of them.

The darkness will go away and the light of the sun of truth will shine

Swami Govinddev Giri further said that some anti-social, irreligious and selfish elements are trying to defame Sanatan Dharma under the guise of this incident. An effort which will not be allowed to succeed at any cost. The culprits will be given the harshest punishment under the law. He assured the night devotees that “these clouds will disperse, darkness will go away and the light of the sun of truth will shine.”
