Politics is intense in the state as well as the country regarding the Ram temple offering issue. In this context, senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and MP Sanjay Singh has given a written complaint to the Janmabhoomi Police Station President against Ram Mandir Trust General Secretary Champat Rai and others and demanded immediate registration of FIR and arrest. Sanjay Singh has accused Champat Rai and associates of misappropriation of crores of rupees. Also demanded investigation into embezzlement of donations and financial irregularities. Not only this, he has also accused BJP of misuse of Ram Mandir fund.
Sanjay Singh said that all the names, facts and solid evidence have come to light in this scam. Even CCTV footage and statements of the detained people have been recorded and stolen goods have also been recovered. Despite this, no concrete action has been taken so far by the administration. He raised the question that despite having so much evidence, why named people like Champat Rai, Anil Mishra, Gopal and Tinnu have not been arrested yet? Why was he not sent to jail?

In a press conference held in the state capital Lucknow on Thursday, AAP leader Sanjay Singh said that the entire country is shocked by this mega scam of donation theft. In this matter, the BJP government and their investigating agencies have full protection. He also targeted the investigating agencies. Singh said, an ‘ED party’ is working in the country, which sends ED and CBI in every small and big case of the opposition, but it is silent on the theft of hundreds of crores of rupees from the donation box of Lord Ram.

Apart from this, he wrote in a post, when I say that ED Party (BJP) is a donation thief, some people get angry with me. Now listen carefully, when the scam was going on in the name of theft of donations and purchase of land in Lord Shri Ram’s temple, from 2020 to 2024, Gyanesh Kumar, who was closest to Modi, was a member of the trust.
He said, their job was to assist the Trust in administrative coordination, government processes, security, land, development and other government matters, but they, along with Champat Rai, were busy looting the temple of Lord Shri Ram. There should also be an investigation as to how much money the ED party looted. Mahmud Ghaznavi looted the temple of Somnath. ED party has looted the temple of Lord Shri Ram.
