Rajpal Yadav Check Bounce Case: The year 2026 is not going good for Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav. This year he is struggling a lot in his personal life. He has completed his jail sentence in February 2026 in an old case related to check bounce and since then is out on interim bail. But now the Delhi High Court’s decision has come on the petition filed by Murali Projects Private Limited and the Bollywood actor has not got any relief in this matter.
Actor Rajpal Yadav has received a big blow from Delhi High Court. Delhi High Court has upheld the punishment of actor Rajpal Yadav in check bounce cases. Actor Rajpal Yadav has been sentenced to jail for 3 months in check bounce cases filed by Murali Projects Private Limited.
What punishment did the court give to Rajpal?
Justice Swarn Kanta Sharma said that Rajpal Yadav were given several opportunities to fulfill their promise but failed to do so. The court has sentenced Rajpal Yadav to 3 months simple imprisonment in each of the 7 cases registered against him. Besides, he has also been ordered to pay a fine of Rs 1.05 crore in each case. However, all these punishments will run together.
What is the whole matter?
Talking about Rajpal Yadav’s check bounce case, the actor had made a film named Ata Pata Lapata in the year 2010. In this film, the actor had joined hands with a company named Murali Projects Private Limited and took a loan of Rs 5 crore. But this film flopped and Rajpal Yadav could not return the amount taken. During this period, this amount along with interest had increased to Rs 9 crore. After this, the checks given by Rajpal Yadav to the production company bounced. After this, Karkardooma Court of Delhi sentenced the comedian to 6 months imprisonment.

But Rajpal Yadav then appealed in the Delhi High Court and got relief in the check bounce case. But in February 2026, his problems in this case increased again and the court asked him to pay the outstanding amount. But even after the help of actors like Salman Khan and Sonu Sood, Rajpal Yadav could not pay the amount and he was sentenced by the Delhi High Court. After spending 13 days in jail, he was granted interim bail. But now a new update has come again in this matter which is no less than a shock for Rajpal Yadav.
