Rajasthan Education Minister Madan Dilawar scolded government teachers for not sending their children to government schools. He said that teachers do not teach their children in government schools because they do not know how to teach themselves. They don’t have confidence in their teaching and are just taking a free salary. Along with this, the minister warned the teachers of government schools and said that if any student scores 40 marks out of 80, then action will be taken against the teachers.
Education Minister Madan Dilawar said during the Pratibha Samman ceremony of Khatik Samaj in Tonk on Sunday (June 28) that if students get low marks, teachers will be interrogated, their increment can be stopped and they can be transferred to remote places. Taking a jibe at the teachers, he said that even after getting 13 marks out of 80, Master Saheb turns up his collar and claims to give 100 percent result. Whereas a student who scores 13 out of 80 fails.

‘It is important to provide quality education’
Education Minister Madan Dilawar said that teachers are very angry with me these days because they think that the Education Minister does not know what rules he brings. Sometimes there is a ban on bringing a phone, sometimes they make rules for getting less marks and sometimes they even make a list of those who come after consuming liquor and gutkha. He said that no matter what the teachers think about me, it has now become necessary to provide valuable and quality education to the students.
‘Teachers’ behavior affects students’
Emphasizing on making the behavior of teachers in schools dignified and cultured, the Minister said that where is the teacher looking, what is he doing. All this affects children. He said that for this reason we are making a list of teachers who eat gutkha and drink alcohol, these lists are being made, after that we will tell what we will do. He said that we have told all the officials that Rajasthan should look clean. Whoever is negligent in this, we will warn him once and will not let him go the second time. No matter which society one belongs to, we will not leave anyone, we will take action.
‘I don’t leave anyone’
He further said that we give one lakh rupees per month to small panchayats for cleanliness, if some panchayats do not do it then we also punish them. He said that many times Minister Kanhaiya Lal ji and District President Chandraveer ji get angry and say that he was the sarpanch of our party, why did he take action, he was uncle’s son, why did he take action. Why was action taken against this, but I do not spare anyone, this filth is not right.
‘Changes are now taking place in the field of education’
The Education Minister said that changes are also taking place in the education sector in Rajasthan. He said that 3 years ago Rajasthan was at 14th position in the country in terms of education level but now Rajasthan has come at number 4. He said that for the first time the children of government schools have topped. Whereas children from private schools were left behind. He said that now education is better in government schools as compared to private schools, I guarantee this. He said that gone are the days when private schools used to be far ahead, now those days have come where government schools are far ahead.
