Raja Choudhary: The personal life of popular TV actress Shweta Tiwari has been in the headlines. The actress had made many allegations against her first husband Raja Chaudhary, after which both of them got divorced. Shweta had accused Raja of giving up the custody of her daughter and choosing a flat worth Rs 93 lakh. It is claimed that Shweta Tiwari had given a 1BHK flat to Raja to get a divorce. After which Raja gave the custody of Palak to Shweta. But now Raja has broken his silence on these allegations against him.
Raja has revealed in an interview why he gave up the custody of Palak and whether the flat worth Rs 93 lakh was really the reason for this decision. Let us know what the king has said?
Raja revealed after years
Shweta Tiwari had said in an interview given to Hindustan Times at that time that initially the lawyers had suggested that the flat be in the joint names of Raja and Palak. But Raja had demanded to get the flat in his name. Shweta had claimed that Raja said, “I can leave my daughter for the property. Give me the flat, I will divorce.”
Raja told that during this time he had become entangled in many legal matters and it had become difficult for him to find a place to live. He said, “There came a time when I was completely upset. I did not want anything. No one was even ready to give me a house on rent.” He also told that the 1BHK flat in question was bought by his father at the time of his marriage.
According to Raja, the down payment of the flat was made by his father, while later he and Shweta were paying its EMI together. He said that this flat was purchased for Rs 9 lakh. Raja said, “I just said that give me this flat and you keep everything else. I just wanted peace in my life.”
Shweta presented the matter in a different way
Raja claims that Shweta had happily agreed to this agreement at that time, but later she presented the whole matter in a different way. He said, “How did this matter reach ‘sacrifice of daughter’? If a person is just asking for a house to live in, then how can it be said that it is like choosing between daughter and wealth?”
Raja Chaudhary also said that if he had taken complete possession of the property shared by both of them, then Shweta’s allegation could have been considered true. But he had also given up his rights on other properties he owned. At the end of the interview, Raja said that if he marries for the third time in the future, he would like to sign a prenuptial agreement first.
