Raj Kundra Statement on UK Court: Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty’s husband and businessman Raj Kundra has once again come into the limelight due to legal troubles. This time the matter is related to his investment in Rajasthan Royals’ parent company ‘Emerging Media’ and a recent order issued by the UK court. After a decision issued by the British court, Raj Kundra has completely clarified his position by giving a detailed official statement. Raj Kundra has expressed strong objection to this order of the UK court, calling it one-sided and has clearly said that he will get complete justice in the Indian courts.
Raj Kundra It clarified in its statement that this order of the UK Court has not come after a complete trial, but has happened due to a procedural default. Kundra said, “The entire focus of my legal team is currently focused on the main legal proceedings going on in India, where the primary issues related to my rights are being litigated. I wish to make it absolutely clear that I am fully prepared to pay the sought settlement amount, provided my shares are returned to me as per my legal rights. There should be a simultaneous decision on the financial liabilities and restoration of my shareholding.
Serious allegations against promoters
Taking a direct aim at Emerging Media promoter Manoj Badale, Raj Kundra alleged that he was deprived of the real value of his investment through false promises and false claims. He said that three separate cases related to emerging media are currently going on in Indian courts, which involve serious claims of harassment and mismanagement.
Raj Kundra further said, “This order of the UK court does not decide the substantive issues of the cases going on in India and it should not have any impact on those proceedings. My legal team has full confidence that the Indian court will not take away my right to justice on the basis of any developments in the foreign jurisdiction. The matter is currently in the court, so it would not be right to comment too much, but I have full faith in the Indian justice system and in the end the truth will prevail.”

Raj Kundra’s old association with controversies
Let us tell you that this is not the first time that Raj Kundra’s name has been linked to some major legal dispute or controversy. Even before this, he had come into limelight during the IPL spot-fixing controversy, due to which, after the order of the Supreme Court, Rajasthan Royals team was banned for two years and Raj Kundra had to stay away from cricket. Apart from this, in the year 2021, he also had to spend months in jail in a case related to adult film racket, after which recently he has expressed his views by making a film on it. Now this recent decision of the UK Court and the ‘Emerging Media’ share dispute has once again increased their legal crisis. However, Kundra’s team claims that they are ready to fight every legal battle honestly.
