MP Raghav Chadha became a victim of trolling on social media after switching from Aam Aadmi Party to BJP. Delhi High Court has now given him relief. The court has directed to remove five objectionable content against Raghav Chadda. However, Delhi High Court refused to consider it as a case of violation of Raghav Chadha’s personality rights. The court also refused to pass any interim order regarding the protection of personality rights.
Raghav Chadha said that from this content it seems that he sold himself for money. However, Delhi High Court says that no issue of ‘personality rights’ is involved in his case. The court said that it has directed to remove five such contents regarding Raghav Chadda, which appear to be defamatory. The rest of the content cited by Raghav does not appear to be defamatory.
