Recently this film was announced and along with the announcement, the release date of ‘Raftaar’ was also announced. But now suddenly the release of this film has been postponed. Rajkumar Rao ‘Raftaar’ is directed by Aditya Nimbalkar and produced by Patralekha under the banner of Kampa Film. The executive producer of this film is Tarun Bali, while its story and screenplay is written by Rohan Narula. ‘Raftaar’ Rajkumar Rao and Keerthy Suresh will be seen in lead roles. Earlier this film was scheduled to release in theaters on 24 July 2026. But the makers have extended its date by two months and this film will now be released in theaters in October 2026.
Raftaa’s new release date
Rajkumar Rao’s upcoming film ‘Raftaar’ has got a new release date. Now this film will be released in theaters on October 16, which is coinciding with the long weekend of Dussehra. A team of extremely talented actors like Anurag Thakur, Rohan Verma, Tanya Maniktala and Rajat Kapoor will also be seen in important roles in the film. In a post shared on social media, the makers wrote, “People say that a dream takes time to create, but it takes even more hard work to live it. RAFTAAR is not just a film, it is our first step into the world of theater – the result of hard work of faith, courage and countless dreams. When something is so personal and special, it deserves time to become something truly memorable.”

Raftaar will be released on 16th October
