Raaka: Director Atlee’s film ‘Raaka’ is one of his most awaited films. Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone are in lead roles in this film. The shooting of the film has also started. Recently Atlee had attended an event. In which he has revealed that he wanted to cast an actress in the film Raaka. But due to lack of dates his wish could not be fulfilled. Yes, according to Atlee, he wanted to cast actress Preeti Mukundan in the film.
Chris had attended the promotion event of Preeti Mukundan’s film ‘Idhayam Murali’. In this event, he praised Preeti’s acting and dancing. He also told that he wanted to cast him also. But the actress was busy with other projects.

Atlee impressed with Preeti Mukundan
During the event, Atlee praised Preeti Mukundan and said, “I like Preeti very much. Both her acting and dancing are excellent. I wanted to cast her in my film, but her dates were already booked for Akash Baskaran’s film ‘Idhayam Murali’. I thought no problem, we will work together next time. She is very hardworking and polite.”
Wanted to cast for ‘Raka’
Although Atlee did not take the name of his film, it is believed that he was talking about Allu Arjun’s film ‘Raaka’. According to reports, he was not talking about the lead role of the film, but about the character which is now being played by Malayalam actress Femina George. However, Atlee did not tell which role was offered to Preeti.
