Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was taken to a medical center in Jerusalem on Monday evening. PM Office said that he has been admitted to the hospital for dental treatment. However, it was not told what kind of treatment it was and how serious it was. The Prime Minister’s Office gave this information after reports came in the Hebrew media that Netanyahu has been taken to the hospital.
Many questions have already been raised regarding the health of the 76 year old Prime Minister and due to this his condition is continuously discussed. Last month, Netanyahu posted a long message on social media. In this he told that he had prostate cancer and it has been treated successfully. For this he took radiation therapy at Hadassah Hospital. He had said that he did not tell this thing earlier because he was afraid that Iran might use it for propaganda against Israel.
Netanyahu shared limited information
Netanyahu also did not tell when he came to know about the disease, when the treatment started and when it ended. Along with this, its annual health report and a document related to cancer were released. But this report was very general. There were only small points mentioned in it, it was also not clear from which year this report was. There was no name of any hospital or anything like an official medical document in it.
Pacemaker was installed 3 years ago
Netanyahu’s health has been in the news many times before. A pacemaker was installed in his body in July 2023. He had hernia surgery in March 2024. After this, his prostate surgery was done in December 2024.
When the pacemaker was implanted, it was initially reported that he was admitted to Sheba Medical Center due to dehydration and was kept under observation overnight. Later the hospital said that a heart monitor has been installed inside his body to check his heart. A week later, the doctors said that some abnormality was found in the ECG test, but despite this they also said that the Prime Minister’s heart is completely normal.
