
The situation remains tense amid the ongoing protests in Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Under the leadership of Joint Awami Action Committee, people are continuously protesting against inflation, tax and administrative policies. Meanwhile, it has now been completely confirmed that Pakistan has banned food supply to the area. It is being told that many trucks carrying ration and other essential goods from Islamabad to PoJK have been stopped at the border.
It is claimed that these trucks have been standing there for the last seven days, due to which the supply of food items has started getting affected in many areas. Local people allege that this step has been taken to put pressure on the protesters and weaken the movement. Joint Awami Action Committee says that now the supply of essential goods is also being stopped to suppress the democratic voice of the people. They allege that due to this, common citizens are facing a lot of trouble and the availability of daily essential items is being affected.
Videos going viral on social media
However, no official statement has come from Pakistan on this matter. At the same time, many videos are going viral on social media, in which it is being claimed to show trucks parked at the border, but these videos have not been confirmed.
People of Jammu and Kashmir do not need ‘recognition’ from Islamabad
Meanwhile, ‘Prime Minister’ of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir Faisal Mumtaz Rathore has started a public war of words with Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif. According to reports, it is being claimed that Faisal Mumtaz has strongly criticized Asif’s comments in which he had questioned the Kashmiri identity of the residents of some parts of Kashmir. He said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir do not need ‘recognition’ from Islamabad.
