He told that the security arrangements in Delhi district were being reviewed since 6 am. According to Srinivas Sharma, at around 1 pm, information was received from DCP Central that Chandrashekhar along with about 8 to 10 thousand of his supporters were sitting near Jai Singh Road, Sansad Marg red light and the road was blocked due to which the public was facing a lot of trouble.

He told that the police team arrived to remove the protesters from there. During this time, many attempts were made to convince the protesters, but they did not agree and created a ruckus. He told that after this the senior officers were evacuated safely from there. According to Srinivas Sharma, he got trapped in the crowd during the uproar.

He told that the protesters dragged him, threw him on the ground and misbehaved with him. He alleged that a large number of mischievous and anti-social elements were present in the crowd. He told that when more than 10 thousand protesters reached Patel Chowk, the police had to use lathi charge and tear gas shells.
