CJP is attacking the government for the paper leak. His demand is that resignation should be taken from Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on this issue. Apart from this, there should be a detailed discussion on this issue and necessary steps should be taken to ensure that the paper does not leak further. At the same time, the cases registered against the students regarding the protest should be withdrawn and the students injured in the police action should be compensated.
Government said- we are ready for talks
On the other hand, the government says that it is ready for talks with CJP. Today itself, Union Minister Jitendra Singh said that the government is completely ready for talks. The government has sent four formal proposals for talks with their representatives from yesterday afternoon. This is a standing invitation to all our young friends that the government is ready for talks on all issues at any time, as per your convenience. The conversation can take place at JP Nadda’s office or home.
He further said that we are not dependent on prestige. Union Health Minister JP Nadda and I will be present for talks. Gradually, through dialogue, we will move towards a solution. This is a part of the series of continuous steps being taken by the government for the welfare of students. I humbly appeal to all of you to come and talk.
