Angered by Shehbaz Sharif’s government in Pakistan, Pakistan People’s Party chief Bilawal Bhutto has played a big gamble. Bilawal has extended his hand for alliance with jailed Imran Khan’s party PTI. The first experiment of the alliance will take place in Gilgit Balistan, where assembly elections were recently held. Bilawal’s party has contacted Imran Khan’s party for government formation here.
According to Geo News Urdu, there are 24 assembly seats in Gilgit, where 13 MLAs are needed to form the government. Imran Khan’s party has 2 MLAs. Bilawal’s party is the largest party in the assembly and has won 10 seats. Shahbaz Sharif The party has 5 MLAs.
Bilawal Bhutto has chosen Imran Khan’s party to form the government here. If Imran Khan’s party gives the green signal, it will be a big blow to the Shahbaz government.
Same game happened with Imran too
In 2022, Imran Khan was removed from power in Pakistan. At that time, Bilawal Bhutto’s party had supported Shahbaz Sharif’s party, after which Shahbaz Sharif became the Prime Minister in the 2024 elections. Bilawal’s party got a chance to form government in Balochistan and Sindh. Shahbaz Sharif’s party is in power in Punjab province. Similarly, Imran Khan’s party succeeded in forming the government in Khyber.
However, Bilawal Bhutto is not feeling very comfortable in Shahbaz’s government. During the recent Union Budget, Bilawal openly opened a front against the government. Not only this, there are differences between Bilawal and Shahbaz regarding the recruitment of governors.
