The makers have signed cinematographer Juan Carlos Gil of Netflix’s famous series ‘Narcos’ for the film. Juan Carlos Gil has now become a part of the ‘catastrophe’. It is being told that the makers want to give this film a grand visual experience of Hollywood style and they believe that Gill is the perfect option for this project.

Juan Carlos Gil’s second Bollywood project

Being directed by Montu Bassi, this international thriller is inspired by true events based on the role of spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in the Colombia peace process. Siddharth Anand, who has made films like ‘Pathan’ and ‘War’, is producing this big budget political drama thriller.

Talking about ‘Pralaya’, this film is being produced under the direction of Jai Mehta and is being produced by Birla Studios and Hansal Mehta. Kalyani Priyadarshan will be seen in the lead role with Ranveer Singh in the film. It is being described as a large scale zombie thriller. Ranveer Singh will start shooting for the film from next month and will complete the shooting of the first schedule before Diwali. After this the actor will go on paternity leave. It is being told that Ranveer Singh will start shooting for the film again in the year 2027. Till then the production of ‘Pralaya’ will remain halted.
