Apart from Modak, gram flour, boondi or flour laddus are also considered very dear to Lord Ganesha. Offering laddus during puja maintains happiness and peace in the family and is believed to remove financial problems.
Must offer Durva grass
Durva has special significance in Ganesh Puja. It is believed that offering 21 Durvas to Lord Ganesha makes him very happy. This is considered an important part of the puja and reduces obstacles in life.
