- According to the Panchang, Trayodashi Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Jyeshtha month is starting on June 12 at 07:36 pm.
- At the same time, this date will end on June 13 at 4:07 pm.
The time of Pradosh Kaal is important in Pradosh Vrat. The date of Pradosh Vrat is on 13th June, but Pradosh Kaal time is not available for worship, hence the first Pradosh Vrat of June will be observed on 12th June. This fast will be observed on Friday, due to which it will be called Shukra Pradosh Vrat.

Pradosh Vrat Puja Method (Pradosh Vrat Puja Vidhi)
On the day of Pradosh fast, take bath in the morning and worship. Then keep a fruit-free fast throughout the day. In the evening, go to Lord Shiva’s temple or if there is a Shivalinga in the house, then anoint it. Offer water, milk, honey, Ganga water, bel leaves and white flowers to Lord Shiva. After this recite Shiv Chalisa, Mahamrityunjaya Mantra or Pradosh Vrat Katha. Finally, conclude the puja by performing Shiva ji aarti.
