December Record: The films released in July are currently earning well at the box office. 1. Animal: Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’ was released in the year 2023. This film, which released on December 1, did a business of Rs 915 crore from the worldwide box office. Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor also worked in the film. It came in the first week of December and created a record which has still not been broken. After that, every year the film released in the first week of December has been a blockbuster.
2. Pushpa 2: Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2’ was released in the first week of December i.e. on 4th December. In which Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil worked. It proved to be the biggest blockbuster film of the year 2024. Made under the direction of Sukumar, this picture did a worldwide business of Rs 1742 crore. Also, the record of the first week of December, which was started by Ranbir, was maintained by Allu Arjun.
3. Dhurandhar: Ranveer Singh’s film Dhurandhar was released in December 2025. Many stars including Akshay Khanna, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt were included in this picture. Part 2 of this film shook the entire box office in the beginning of 2026. However, Part 1 had earned Rs 1307 crore worldwide.
