Sharing a post on social media, Mayawati said that the theft of offerings in Shri Ram temple of Ayodhya, manipulation and tampering, and various types of news coming out daily in the media about such incidents are very serious and worrying. He said that such people should not be spared at all, but it is also not right to politicize this matter.
Mayawachi gave advice
He advised that like other famous temples, a strict system of accounting of offerings should be implemented in Ayodhya too. He said, ‘To ensure that there are no further complaints regarding the offerings made with devotion in the temple, it would be right to resolve this issue as soon as possible by implementing the system adopted in other well-known and famous temples of the country to keep track of the offerings etc. here also.’

‘Politicization of religion should stop’
Along with this, Mayawati said that it would be right and constitutional for political parties like BSP to advise in the interest of the country and the public that criminalization of politics, politicization of crime, politicization of religion and blind religiosity in politics should not be promoted in the country. He also appealed to the residents to keep matters of faith away from politics and maintain faith in the system.
