Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader, former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi and in-charge of Punjab affairs Manish Sisodia lashed out at Congress-BJP in Jalandhar. While taking stock of the arrangements and systems of Nari Niketan organization, he also took a dig at the film controversy in Punjab politics and the ongoing tussle within the Punjab Congress.
He said that BJP should make it clear to the people of Punjab with whom it stands on the issue of atrocities against the people of the state. Sisodia alleged that the BJP is using this sensitive issue to hide the past exploits and activities of the Congress.
Nothing will be achieved by spreading lies: Sisodia
Manish Sisodia said that the BJP government at the Center is trying to hide the old mistakes of the Congress. Targeting Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu, he said that Bittu was earlier a Congressman and has now become a BJP minister. He clearly said that questioning or spreading false propaganda about the actor’s character and historical facts shown in the film Sutlej cannot change the reality. Before answering the people of Punjab, both Congress and BJP should check their pockets.
Fulfilled the promise made to the people of Punjab
Referring to the upcoming 2027 assembly elections in the state, the Punjab in-charge said that his entire focus is currently on strengthening the party’s organization and taking the public welfare works of the government to the grassroots level. For this, he is continuously holding meetings and talking to local leaders and workers of the party.
He claimed that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and party’s national convenor Arvind Kejriwal have honestly fulfilled every promise made to the people of Punjab during the elections. He said that the people of Punjab will never forgive those criminals who pushed the state into the dark phase of history.
Appreciation of the arrangements made by Nari Niketan
Manish Sisodia wholeheartedly appreciated the arrangements of Nari Niketan organization. He avoided discussing much on the political issues within the organization and said that such organizations are doing very important and commendable work for the needy sections of the society. The management of Jalandhar Nari Niketan is being run very well, which is a very commendable step.
