
These days the Bangla dispute is in the headlines in Bihar politics. The fight between the ruling party and the opposition regarding the allocation of government bungalows has intensified. Former Chief Minister of the state and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Rabri Devi has been asked to vacate the government bungalow located at 10 Circular Road, Patna. The administration has issued a notice to them and directed them to vacate it. However, he has clearly refused to vacate the bungalow. Meanwhile, the statement of RJD’s National Principal General Secretary Abdul Bari Siddiqui has come to light. He has accused BJP of working with a spirit of revenge.
After the notice to Rabri Devi to vacate the bungalow, Abdul Bari Siddiqui has released a list of people to whom government bungalows have been allotted. He has alleged that these people are living in the bungalow against the rules. In this, questions have also been raised on the bungalow allotment of two former Chief Ministers Nitish Kumar and Jitan Ram Manjhi. Apart from this, names of MPs Sanjay Jha, Upendra Kushwaha, Deveshchandra Thakur are also included in the list.
Government accused of adopting double standards
RJD’s National Principal General Secretary Abdul Bari Siddiqui has asked questions on BJP’s National President Nitin Naveen not yet vacating the minister’s bungalow. He has accused the government of adopting double standards. While releasing the list, he said that all these people are living in the bungalow against the rules.
Notice to vacate the bungalow located at ’10 Circular Road’
In fact, the bungalow located at ’10 Circular Road’ in Patna, which has been the center of politics of Lalu-Rabri family for the last several years, has now been asked to vacate. The Building Construction Department of Bihar Government has recently issued a final notice to vacate the bungalow immediately.
Bungalow allotted to minister Nandkishore Ram
The bungalow has now been allotted to Bihar Government’s Fisheries, Dairy and Animal Husbandry Minister Nand Kishore Ram (BJP leader). Therefore, the department has written a letter to the personal secretary of Rabri Devi and instructed her to vacate it immediately. But Rabri Devi is adamant on not vacating it. She clearly said that she will not vacate. Call the force and evacuate.
Rabri Devi got second bungalow
Earlier in November 2025 also, Rabri Devi was given notice to vacate it. The government has already allotted to Rabri Devi, being the Leader of Opposition in the Bihar Legislative Council, a big bungalow located at 39, Harding Road, which is spread over about three acres.
