Notice on illegal construction
Let us tell you that a few days ago, Kolkata Municipal Corporation had sent notices to Abhishek’s Kalighat house and his ‘Santiniketan’ house on Harish Mukherjee Road. According to sources, he had seen many illegal constructions in this house named Shantiniketan and the house in Kalighat. Many parts have been dismantled and made new.
Then, under Section 400 (1), a notice was sent to the house where ‘Abhishek Hardware’ shop (it is actually named after Abhishek’s mother Lata Banerjee) based on allegations of several illegal constructions. After that Abhishek asked for time to reply. Today the Trinamool MP from Diamond Harbor replied to that letter. Abhishek Banerjee had already sought time to respond to the Municipal Corporation’s notice. Now he has raised an opposite question.
A total of two notices have been sent to the MP’s house. First, a notice was given regarding illegal construction. Later, Purnima’s assessment department sent another notice to the house named Shantiniketan, which is in the name of Lips and Bounds Organisation.

Abhishek responded to a notice on Sunday itself. There he asked for time. He asked for 10 days time to reply to the letter. The question arises whether his attitude has finally softened? Now, All India General Secretary of Trinamool has sent a letter and raised the opposite question.
He has said in the letter that the notice was given in the spirit of ‘political revenge’. Abhishek Banerjee asked where is the mistake in the building rules? It has also been asked in the letter why the notice was given in this manner by breaking the rules.
