Certificates are not required from such people – PoK PM
Faisal Mumtaz Rathore tweeted on X that ‘people of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir do not need anyone’s approval to prove their identity. The actions of such people are creating division among people instead of bringing them closer. After facing criticism over his mistake, he is now trying to handle the matter by finding shortcomings in the functioning of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. If the Defense Minister has dignity then he should apologize for his statement. POK government should not be made a scapegoat.
Khawaja Asif raised questions on POK government in defense
Khawaja Asif, while defending himself against criticism of his statement on Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, had raised questions on the governance system of PoK. Apart from this, he said that the identity of a Kashmiri is not decided by the birth certificate but by years of struggle. On this, Prime Minister Faisal Mumtaz Rathore said that if the Defense Minister has doubts about the functioning of his government, then he should take information from the top officials of Pakistan. He will tell them how much good work the Pakistan occupied government has done.
Bilawal Bhutto criticized Khawaja Asif’s statement
Khawaja Asif’s statement that ‘people living in Rawalakot and Mirpur of PoK are not real Kashmiris’ has also been criticized by Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. He said that senior ministers should speak very carefully on sensitive issues like Kashmir. Bilawal Bhutto appealed to Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif to control his ministers.
Khawaja Asif refused to apologize
At present, the uproar is increasing over Khwaja Asif’s statement regarding Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. He is being criticized in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir as well as in the entire country, but he is not ready to apologize. He has clearly said that he will not apologize. He said, ‘I had not apologized before and I will not apologize even now.’ Let us tell you that Khwaja Asif has been known for giving absurd statements.
