PoK demands independence from Pakistan! Leaders gave deadline, Shahbaz-Munir were shocked

July 12, 2026 by Uma Shankar

People’s revolution for independence has started in Pakistan occupied Kashmir. Only 48 hours are left in Muzaffarabad March. General Munir has received the deadline from POK. As the wheel of time is turning, the heartbeats of Islamabad are increasing. POK is in a mood to cross Pakistan on 15th July. So, is Pakistan going to be burdened by illegally occupied Kashmir?

9th July is the date when Munir became General Dyer for POK. His army crossed all limits of oppression. Indiscriminate firing started on 2000 protesters sitting in Kotri of Rawalakot.

It is claimed that 2 people were killed while more than 13 were seriously injured. This is not a new picture of the ongoing brutality in POK. Such videos of atrocities by Pakistan Army have become an identity there. But this time people are not retreating from the cruelty of Munir Company, rather they are fighting them boldly.

It has been more than a month since this mass movement. According to one figure, 61 people have been killed so far but the courage of the protesters has not broken, due to which the rulers sitting in Islamabad are nervous.

The movement that started on the issue of back-breaking inflation, power crisis, heavy taxes and administrative neglect has reached a point from where there is no U-turn but the path to freedom. Now the public of POK is in no mood to tolerate Pakistan’s interference.

Pakistan’s fear meter has gone down. The situation is such that the JAAC i.e. Joint Awami Action Committee, which is leading the movement in POK, has given the final order to Munir’s puppet government. Munir has only two days time till 14th July, no one knows what will happen after that.

The Joint Awami Action Committee has given an ultimatum to fulfill the 38-point demands of POK by July 14. He has said that if the demands are not accepted then a long march will be taken out towards Muzaffarabad from July 15, in which more than 1 lakh people are expected to participate.

The protesters said that they will also go to the Parliament. And after that, the 38 demands which are ours will not be ours again. He has said that after that we will talk about independence of POK. This spark of revolution emanating from POK is so explosive that it can burn Islamabad to ashes, Shahbaz Sharif is in tension. Munir’s blood pressure is going up and down. The entire government is scared due to the heat of fire in POK.

Senior journalist of Pakistan Arzoo Kazmi said that the kind of atmosphere in POK at present and the way protests are going on, in my opinion the mistake that Pakistan made in 1971 is the same mistake that Pakistan is making in Balochistan. We see the same mistake happening in POK.

Although Pakistan’s official claim says that everything is fine, under control, but the pictures show that the situation is out of control. The entire POK including Kotli to Rawalakot, Muzaffarabad to Mirpur is yearning for its freedom. They feel that this opportunity will not come again.

Former Pakistani military officer Adil Raja said that these are not political workers, rather you will see children, elderly, women and students here. Lawyers have also come out on the streets inside POK.

Even though Munir is giving the feeling that everything is fine, the reality is something else. The announcement of the protesters’ Muzaffarabad march has left the Pakistan government in a tizzy. In such a situation, the puppet government of POK has asked for 4 thousand additional Frontier Corps soldiers from Pakistan. Apart from these, an appeal has been made to deploy 5500 Pakistani Rangers. This deployment will be in addition to the more than 8 thousand Rangers present in POK since June 4.

If this much deployment is done then more than 17 thousand soldiers will be in POK alone. The question is that if everything is under control in the eyes of Islamabad, then why are thousands of soldiers being sent. After all, why is Pakistan occupied Kashmir being made a cantonment?

The pictures of POK clearly show that the people there now reject the atrocities of Pakistan and Munir. This time the voice of freedom emanating from POK is echoing on the global stage. From Britain to other countries of Europe are criticizing Munir’s repressive policies. Pakistan’s bloodshed has aroused the anger of Europe. This equation can shake the weak foundation of Pakistan on July 15.
