Surender Sharma Poems: Famous comic poet Surendra Sharma, during the interview given to TV 9 Bharatvarsh, talked on every issue and also guided the youth. He told what is that poem which he would like to write and would like the world to always remember him in history because of this poem. He answered this. He also told that in today’s era, when the practice of teaching Hindi has ended, then how will poetry survive for the coming generations.
Surendra Sharma was finally asked how he wanted Padmashree Surendra Sharma to be remembered by history. Responding to this, he said- I want to write such a poem that the people of the entire country can connect with each other. I want to write such a timeless poem. And I am also trying this. Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, written thousands of years ago and today we are doing Hindu-Muslim. This is our thinking. I am thinking of writing something that will not break a person under any circumstances but will only unite him.

How will poetry survive?
Discussed the most important issues of current times with Surendra Sharma. He was asked that the dignity of the forums is now being lost. Nowadays, parody and mimicry have found a place on the stages which was once the place of poetry. How can it be saved?
Talking on this, Surendra Sharma said – Today everyone got a place on the stages but Kavita did not. Poetry will not survive because children have stopped reading Hindi. Earlier, the IAS were also scholars of Sanskrit. Now children have also stopped studying Hindi. Children are studying Hindi only till 9th class. He did not read literature. You won’t even remember the names of Bachchan-Nirala and who they were. That is why it is very difficult to write poems in today’s time. Had also talked to AAP leader Manish Sisodia on teaching Hindi to children.
