New chapter in trade relations with Britain

According to their official statement, both sides are moving forward at a very fast pace to fulfill the promises made by them. It has been decided that the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between India and European Union will be officially signed by the end of this year.
Huge consensus reached regarding talks with Canada
During this G-7 summit, good news has also come on the front of India-Canada relations. In the joint statement issued after the important meeting of the leaders of the two countries, it has been made clear that the talks going on towards the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) have been quite satisfactory. Both countries have made it clear that their common goal is to finalize this important trade agreement within 2026 at all costs.
